For about the past two weeks of preparation for final exam week, my fingers have itched to work on my book, a work-in-progress for which I steal precious minutes to work on.   During these hectic weeks, the following haiku — about my near-adulterous passion to sneak off, to steal away, with my WIP — has haunted me.

That is, until now. I cannot hide these feelings any longer.

HAIKU TO MY WORK-IN-PROGRESS

Furtive, feverish

fingers caressing keyboard

sav’ry stolen time with you.
